Objective evaluation of multidirectional fabric wrinkling using image analysis

In the textile industry, the wrinkled fabrics are regularly evaluated subjectively in reference to a set of visual standards. However, due to the disadvantages of visual evaluation, which are unreliable and time-inefficient, several objective methods were recently developed. In this paper, a new objective evaluation of multidirectional realistic fabric's wrinkling generated by the French method of “cylindre creux” was proposed using the image processing. Four characteristics of wrinkled fabrics were evaluated to estimate wrinkle grade with a statistical model. The study reveals a good correlation between the objective wrinkling evaluation (using image analysis) and the subjective evaluation (using the visual standards).

A New Fashion: Dressing Up the Cities

Abstract

The aim of this article is to explore the urban knitting movement, a worldwide phenomenon that tries to combine a domestic activity, street or folk art, the reshaping of do-it-yourself culture, and peaceful forms of urban guerrilla protest. The activists employ colorful displays of knitted or crocheted cloth to enhance, beautify, personalize, and gentrify abandoned public places. Furthermore, they use the Internet to share knowledge on techniques and experiences, to organize collective actions, and to record and document their artistic installations. This article is focused on an urban knitting project realized in L'Aquila (Italy) three years after the 2009 earthquake. It was called “Mettiamoci una pezza” (“Let's Patch It”). The main aim of this project was to “dress up” the main square of the city, covering the gray metal barricades that still block off citizens from some areas of downtown and adding a sprinkle of color and warmth to the devastated city. We studied this movement in an ethnographic way, by applying a qualitative content analysis of the online materials and nonparticipatory observation of this event in L'Aquila in order to investigate what the collective action did both practically and symbolically. Our research shows how the movement was able to promote a very complex and meaningful political initiative.     

The Family Almost Perfect Scale: Development, psychometric properties, and comparing Asian and European Americans.

This article describes two studies related to the development and psychometric evaluation of the Family Almost Perfect Scale (FAPS), which measures the perceived level of perfectionistic standards and evaluation from one's family. In Study 1 (N = 283), exploratory factor analysis was used to determine the FAPS scale items. In Study 2, the FAPS was cross-validated through confirmatory factor analyses with an Asian/Asian American sample (N = 252) and a European American sample (N = 386). These two samples were compared on study variables and Asians/Asian Americans reported modestly higher personal and family discrepancy and lower self-esteem. Participants were also grouped into different perceived perfectionistic family types. Those that perceived having maladaptively perfectionistic families reported greater depression and lower self-esteem. 互联网金融是在“互联网+”大背景下快速发展起来的, “校园贷”作为其重要组成部分近几年发展迅猛。 但由于校园网络借贷受众的特殊性, 以及相关风险防控手段的缺失, 引发了一系列问题, 受到社会舆论的普 遍关注。通过设计调查问卷, 对南京交通职业技术学院学生进行调查, 并对问卷调查结果进行认真的分析, 得出的结论是:要有针对性地构建“校园贷”风险防范体系;政府、学校、家庭三方必须通力协作, 积极发挥 各自作用;要加强对学生的教育管理, 正确引导大学生理性消费。

随着清洁能源的大力发展与智能电网技术的不断成熟,特高压技术解决了超远距离电力传输调度问题,在当今全球化进程中全球能源互联已成为现阶段急需解决的重大问题,也是实现全球经济与能源可持续发展的重要战略规划。全球能源互联需要世界各国在能源领域进行全方面合作,打破不同发展水平国家间的能源准入壁垒,将世界各国的资源及能源性企业联合起来,形成一套互信互惠的能源交易运行机制,并探索适用于全球能源互联的商业模式,以保障全球能源互联网的建设有序开展。通过现阶段“一带一路”发展战略对全球能源发展现状及全球能源互联网现阶段取得成果的分析,对全球能源互联网发展过程中的新型投融资机制、市场机制、协同创新机制以及组织保障机制的建设进行了探索,旨在提出全球能源互联运行当中面对的各种问题,为全球能源互联运行机制建设提供可行性方案,推动“一带一路”与构建全球能源互联网两大战略的耦合与互动。     

特厚易自燃煤层综放开采采空区防灭火技术

针对特厚煤层综放开采过程中工作面推进速度慢、采空区遗煤量大、漏风严重、极易自燃的特点,建立特厚煤层综放开采采空区渗流及扩散数学模型。利用富力矿-380 m前部22#层采空区的特征,对该特厚煤层采空区作出相应的假设,对该工作面采空区自燃“三带”进行划分,最终确定氧化带为采后距工作面25~60 m的范围。根据模拟结果,采取注氮注浆防灭火措施,取得较好的效果。利用该工作面现场数据进行数据拟合,验证防火措施效果,较好地达到防灭火的目的。     

S209FA型燃机“二拖一”联合循环并汽及解汽应用研究

介绍了巴基斯坦古杜电厂S209FA型燃气-蒸汽联合循环“二拖一”机组启动方式及热力系统特点,针对试验过程中旁路控制出现的问题进行了优化和完善,对不同并汽方式进行了验证。高、中压同时并汽有利于汽轮机的推力平衡和稳定运行,由于同时控制设备和参数较多,不易实现自动并汽;先并中压,后并高压蒸汽,最后并入低压蒸汽的方案实现了机组自动并汽,机组负荷稳定,能够满足机组的快速启停和稳定运行的要求,提高了机组的自动化水平。
